Forest diversity: Friends of Nature volunteers soon head out to Clay Island to plant 90 each of white pine and hemlock on Earth Day 2012 In attendance were Syd and Sandy Dumaresq, Ken MacRury, Sheila Knowlton MacRury, Al Chaddock, Pamela Keating, Eric and Pat Christensen and three dogs.

It was foggy for a while, and then it cleared. The rain held off until all were home again.
